Penny Linn Nantucket Weekend 2026

We are excited to welcome you to another fun weekend in Nantucket! After so much fun over the past three years, we couldn't resist coming back for a fourth.

Like years past, the weekend is free to join, and we'll continue to have plenty of casual, open meet-ups where you can drop in, stitch, and spend time with fellow needlepoint enthusiasts. We loved how easy and relaxed that format has been for everyone.

This year, we've also added a few special events and experiences that require separate tickets to purchase for those who would like to participate. These optional events are designed to make the weekend even more memorable while still keeping the spirit of the weekend open and welcoming to all.

So pack your bags and projects, and meet us in ACK!

EVENT DATES: JULY 16–19, 2026

The weekend itself is free to join, and you can participate as little or as much as you'd like. Each day we'll have different meet-ups, meals, and activities planned, along with a handful of ticketed special events. We'd love to have you join us for whatever fits your schedule. Below you'll find the weekend schedule, ticket information for special events, and our favorite recommendations for exploring the island between gatherings.

We just ask that you please RSVP by buying this ticket here to reserve your spot.

All of the tickets for the ticketed events will be on our ACK weekend Facebook page!

Thursday July 16th:

The majority of the day will be on your own. Great time to shop around town and grab some bites. Love Provisions for lunch, and Nantucket Peddler (on the wharf) for sweatshirts/ACK swag.

To kick off the weekend we will have a Happy Hour event starting at 3pm. This will be a great way to meet other stitchers that will be on island for the weekend.

We will then head to Erica Wilson for stitch night at 6 pm (until 7:30pm). They are offering us 10% off and a special Gift with purchase (needleminder!) while supplies last. Sheila from Blue Canary Canvas will also be there painting light ship baskets in-store! There will be a link to RSVP to this on the facebook page!

Dinner will be on your own. Nantucket is notoriously hard to get reservations so go where you can find space! For grab-to-go I like Surfside and Walters. For dessert, you must get The Juice Bar!

Friday July 17th:

We'll take the Wave out to Sconset around 9am from the bus terminal across from The Handlebar (a great coffee place).

Grab and go breakfast at Claudettes and then walk to the beach for stitching/hanging out! Will be here till about 2pm (bring something to sit on!)

From 4-6pm we are having a Happy Hour at Hart. They are offering a fun gift with purchase!

Dinner will be on your own this night.

When the sun starts setting, head back to our house for Movie night!! Nantucket Magic is going to be setting up to screen the first two episodes of The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand. The first episode will be starting at around 8:30. There will be candy, popcorn and water. We will have some seats and pillows but feel free to bring your own! This event will be a ticketed purchase available on the facebook page.

If we are all still awake after the screening, we may venture over to The Chicken Box for late night entertainment!

Saturday July 18th:

Saturday morning, breakfast will be on your own but try and go mid island to Island Kitchen if you can! It's one of my favorite places.

Saturday will be our shopping day! To kick it off, we will be at Hill House from 9am-11am (the first hour will be a private experience!) We have put together a shopping guide (with discounts for the weekend!)

Throughout the day there will be classes for us at the Nantucket Historical Association. There will be two Woven Cuff classes, and a Sailor’s Valentine class. Tickets to purchase for these classes will be up on the facebook page!

We'll eat dinner at Millies at 5pm (have to get there early to get seats for a large group!). For those who want to take the Wave Bus out there, we will meet at The Whaling Museum around 4:30 to go to Millies.

After dinner, we'll walk to the beach and stitch/enjoy the sunset before heading back into town. For those still ready to mingle, we will do our annual Karaoke night at Rose and Crown. Easily the best part of our weekend!

Sunday July 19th:

For anyone around on Sunday, we'll head out to Cisco Brewery, meeting at 12pm. Again, getting there when they open to secure seats/tables for us to stitch and hang out. You can Uber out there, take the free Cisco shuttle that picks up at the corner of Federal and East Chestnut Street (will run from 12pm to 5pm back and forth) or the Wave. Lots of food and drink options so come hungry!

For anyone who wants to join or is thinking they want to join, please purchase a free ticket HERE so we can keep track of who can join and for when.

If you want to come but need a place to stay, please email us at hello@pennylinndesigns.com and we can connect you with other stitchers wanting to do the same!

Some helpful tips:

  • If you have to wait for check-in, you can drop your bags at 5 Candle Street for $8.00 each piece for a Suitcase/Zipper Bag, $10.00 for a secure Small Tote, and $12.00 for a secure Large Tote.

  • If you are taking the Ferry, you can walk into town. If you are flying in, take the Nantucket Wave into town which is FREE again for 2026.

  • Bring a sweatshirt (or don't and buy one on island!) because the nights will get cold.
