Meet Cass from Sunshine Coast, Australia!
General Needlepoint
To be honest, I didn’t know a lot about needlepoint until Penny Linn first reached out to me - and I’m so glad they did! I’ve since become genuinely intrigued and inspired by the artistry behind this beautiful craft. I’m really looking forward to seeing my designs come to life in a completely new way through my very first needlepoint project.
I think my sweet little watercolour icons will translate beautifully into needlepoint. They’re playful and coastal, and I imagine they’ll bring so much charm and colour to a stitched canvas - I can’t wait to see them come to life.
Feminine, coastal, intentional
My biggest inspiration is the coastal lifestyle here on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I’m constantly moved by the colours, textures, and freedom that comes with living near the ocean. I feel most creatively alive in the summer - when everything is vibrant and expansive. That energy really shows up in my brushstrokes and colour palettes.
About Your Designs
I’ve been painting in watercolour for over 12 years now, and creating by hand has always felt like coming home to myself. There’s something really powerful about making something original - something that carries the essence of the artist. That’s what I love most about painting and sharing my work.

I love Ken Done’s work, he’s an icon. At the moment I love watching mural artists and their large, inspiring creations..
I’d love to collaborate with a luxury hotel in Italy or the South of France. I’d love to create paintings for their stationery, events, textiles and even wall murals - and then of course holiday there with my family :)
The ocean, the coastal lifestyle, living life like you're always on holidays, freedom, colour and play.
I’m expanding my team which is so exciting. This means that I will have more time to paint and take on more creative projects. I’m also looking forward to traveling more with my family.
