Nantucket Getaway
July 16–19, 2026 · ACK
We're back for a fourth year! The weekend itself is free — drop in, stitch, and spend time with fellow needlepoint enthusiasts. Join us for as little or as much as fits your schedule. A handful of special events require separate tickets, all available on our ACK Weekend Facebook page.
Ticketed Special events with separate tickets on Facebook · everything else is free & open to all
On your own in town
Shop around and grab bites. Love Provisions for lunch, and Nantucket Peddler on the wharf for sweatshirts & ACK swag.
7:30 PM
Private Stitch Night at Erica Wilson RSVP on FB
10% off plus a gift with purchase (needleminder!) while supplies last. Sheila from Blue Canary Canvas will be painting lightship baskets in-store.
Dinner on your own
Reservations are notoriously hard — go where you find space. Grab-and-go: Surfside or Walters. For dessert, you must get The Juice Bar.
The Wave out to Sconset
Catch it from the bus terminal across from The Handlebar (a great coffee stop). Grab-and-go breakfast at Claudette's.
2:00 PM
Beach stitching & hanging out
Walk to the beach for an easy afternoon of stitching. Bring something to sit on!
6:00 PM
Happy Hour at Hart
Stop in for a fun gift with purchase.
Dinner on your own
Movie Night at the house Ticket on FB
Nantucket Magic screens the first two episodes of The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand. Candy, popcorn & water provided. Some seating & pillows available — feel free to bring your own.
The Chicken Box (optional)
If we're still awake, late-night entertainment awaits.
Breakfast on your own
Head mid-island to Island Kitchen if you can — a favorite.
11:00 AM
Shopping Day kickoff at Hill House
The first hour is a private experience! We've put together a shopping guide with weekend discounts.
Classes at the Nantucket Historical Association Ticket on FB
Two Woven Cuff classes and a Sailor's Valentine class. Tickets on Facebook.
Meet for the Wave to dinner
Gather at the Whaling Museum to head to Millie's together.
Dinner at Millie's
Arrive early — we need seats for a large group.
Beach stitch & sunset, then Karaoke
Walk to the beach to enjoy the sunset, then our annual Karaoke Night at Rose & Crown — easily the best part of the weekend.
Send-off at Cisco Brewers
Meet at noon — arrive at open to grab tables for stitching & hanging out. Get there via Uber, the free Cisco shuttle (corner of Federal & East Chestnut, running 12–5 PM), or the Wave. Lots of food & drink, so come hungry!
