Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager leads the brand in creating promotional campaigns to enhance the brand image in the market and reach the target audience. The marketing manager will report directly to the Founder/CEO.

  Job Type: Full-time salary, exempt | Hybrid: 4 days in person per week, 1 day remote
Experience: 3+ years in social media, marketing, or content creation, must have a basic understanding of needlepoint


Qualifications:

  • Experience in social media management, preferably in a similar industry (D2C, lifestyle, commerce, etc.)
  • Proficient in photo and video creation + editing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and platforms.
  • Needlepointer

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with our goals.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality, engaging content, including posts, stories, videos, and images in and out of the office environment for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Remain at the forefront of trends and emerging platforms.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with our community digitally by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build relationships and foster a loyal fan base. Attend relevant events and promote in a natural environment when possible.
  • Collaborations: Work alongside our team to seek out new brand partnerships and PR opportunities.
  • Campaign Management: Work with the external marketing team to plan and execute social media and email campaigns for product launches, promotions, and events. 
  • Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all social media channels.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for retrieving customer sales data, VIP client upkeep, etc.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new team members.

Senior Showroom Coordinator

The Senior Showroom Coordinator will report to our VP and help manage the showroom. 

Job Type: Full-time salary, exempt | In Person: Full-time, flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed
Experience: 1+ years in retail, e-commerce, sales, or related experience; must understand needlepoint

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and re-orders
  • Communicate directly with our customer service team to edit, pull, or look up orders.
  • Manage company phone for showroom customer service 
  • Keep the showroom organized – canvases, inventory, threads, etc. and make sure all are properly stored
  • Handle, input, and organize all incoming packages
  • Point person for scheduled or walk-in shoppers
  • Operate Stitch Nights and any showroom events
  • Curate a showroom for shopping
  • End-of-day clean up and ensure the showroom is ready for the following workday
  • Assist with content shoots and clean-up
  • Help with fulfillment for e-commerce
  • Point person for the storage unit and inventory
  • Take on additional showroom projects as they arise

Finishing Service Manager

 The Finishing Service Manager will report to our VP and handle all final touches for canvases, whether customization or finishing. 

Job Type: Full-time salary, exempt | Hybrid: 1 day in person per week, 4 days remote.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant painting and hand sewing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Needlepointer
  • Must have a background in needlepoint painting
  • Background in needlepoint finishing is preferred
  • Eye for color and finishes

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customization for pre-painted canvases
  • Minimum 10 custom canvas projects per month
  • Ability to finish a minimum of 20 simple shaped ornaments/signs (square/circle) per month
  • Create and build out external finishing services with our providers
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finishing, in-house, and external work.
  • Communicate directly with customers to ensure a smooth finishing process. 
  • Provide on-the-job training for new team members with a plan/goal to build out a full finishing team.
  • Take sponsored finishing and painting classes to build new skills.

The Finishing Service Coordinator will report to our Finishing Manager and handle all final touches for canvases, whether that be customization or finishing. 

Job Type: Full-time salary, exempt | Hybrid: 2 day in person per week, 3 days remote
Experience: 1+ year of needlepoint or relevant painting

Qualifications:

  • Must have a background in needlepoint painting
  • The ability to create and edit digital needlepoint canvases is preferred
  • Background in needlepoint finishing is preferred
  • Eye for color and finishes

Responsibilities:

  • Help with customization for pre-painted canvases.
  • Oversee current in-house leather finishing.
  • Assist finishing manager with finishing group organization, mailing out, and inbound receiving. 
  • Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finishing, in-house, and external work.
  • Communicate directly with customers to ensure a smooth finishing process. 
  • Oversee buying of fabrics and new finishing materials.
  • Take sponsored finishing and painting classes to build new skills.

Virtual Designer

The virtual designer will report to our founder and create designs for the Penny Linn brand. 

Job Type: Part-time, hourly | Virtual: 10-20 hours a week
Experience: 1+ year of design experience, ideally has created needlepoint before

Responsibilities:

  • Create custom illustration or print work for Penny Linn accessory line
  • Help turn collective designer artwork into needlepoint charts/canvases.
  • Able to take on custom work for customers digitally or assist with the finishing team.
