The third edition of the Penny Linn advent calendar has officially arrived! Get them while you can - we expect that these will sell out quickly! While many of you are already familiar with the advent calendars, we thought we would answer some top burning questions for you ahead of the launch.
Q & A
Question: How much does it cost?
Answer: The box will retail for $595. The total value is a little more than $1,200!

Question: What is the time of the launch?
Answer: 12PM ET on Friday 10/4

Question: Can you share examples of what is in the box?
Answer: We like to keep it a secret (half the fun!) but here’s an idea of what to expect: 14 canvases (12 of which are unique/exclusive designs from our collective designers), 10 accessories (non-bag items), 3 bags, 2 “lifestyle” items, and a gift card!

Question: How many new/exclusive items?
Answer: Only 5 items in the box are technically something you can purchase on our site now. But most of these items come with something (like a chart pack or exclusive colorway) that make it not the same!
Those items are thing like needles, frames, tacks, scissors, gift card, blank canvas, etc. So while they are not exclusive, they are generally loved and used!
Everything else (19 !!) items are totally exclusive to the box never to be made or sold again.

Question: Will there be any repeat items from previous boxes?
Answer: The only *true* repeat is a gift card and blank canvas. Even the needles we gave last year will be a different brand this year! Outside of that, everything is new/custom for the box. Meaning we’ll have items like our signature project bags/tin cases but they will have the exclusive advent print on them.
Example: last year there were scissors and a custom needle minder. This year there will be a scissor and a needle minder, but they will be different!

Question: I’m Jewish, will it be full of Christmas stuff or more generic with something for everyone?
Answer: *nothing* is holiday themed. If I had to give a theme of the box it would be: needlepoint, Penny Linn, blue and white

Question: Are the canvases alcohol themed this year?
Answer: No! None of them are alcohol or holiday themed at all. Most are customizable, and one is text!

Question: Will there be a 12 day option?
Answer: No, sadly. Last year we did this option because there was SUCH a demand for the box after it sold out within the hour that we were able to get some last minute items together for a 12 day box. This year, instead of trying for two boxes, we just upped our launch quantity with hopes that it won’t sell out and everyone who wants one can get one.

Question: When will it be shipped?
Answer: We are going to start packing the week before Thanksgiving, with plans to get all boxes out by the end of November.

Question: What mesh size are the included canvases?
Answer: A mix of 13 and 18! You’ll be getting a new canvas every other day in the box. Our designers came through!!!

Question: Will the canvases come with thread?
Answer: No, we don’t include any thread in the box! I think thread preferences are just too personal and we instead focused on accessories to fill the other days. I think that’s where Penny Linn shines!

Question: Please show a sneak peek of a canvas! I’m so curious
Answer: We have to keep them a secret!! But I will tell you they are all 4x4 squares to fit into one of the accessories. Mine looks something like this with white space for a monogram in the middle!

Question: Do I open it all at once?
Answer: We think it’s more fun if you treat it like a true advent calendar and open one item per day along with everyone else!

Answer: If you open your box all at once ahead of time, we suggest not spoiling it on social media for others without including a spoiler alert first! The anticipation and surprise is half the fun!
